Sixes Custom Warranty
Sixes Custom warrants all labor for 30 days after delivery of the completed project to customer. If, during this 30-day period there are material defects discovered in workmanship, then Sixes Custom will rectify the problem at no charge. All customers should return their vehicle to Sixes Custom for a free 50-mile inspection, ideally within the first 30 days to preserve the Sixes Custom Warranty.
If a material component (parts) defect is discovered before or after project delivery, component parts warranty/warranties will apply, and are usually 12 months. Sixes Custom will ensure that the component part warranty is honored by the original supplier and will manage the warranty process with the supplier. Remediation work (for example to remove and replace a faulty part) will be charged at $60/hour. In many cases, the parts supplier may also pay towards remediation hours and Sixes Custom will credit these payments to the customer during the remediation.
Vehicles that we paint are warranted to be free of cracking/bubbles/peeling for 12 months following the application of paint. Warranty only applies where Sixes Custom conducted the entire paint project from start to finish including bare-metal preparation. Paint warranty only applies to paint that is not damaged by mechanical contact (e.g. collision).
Warranty Exclusions
Customer Supplied parts are not covered by this warranty. If at any time during or after the project a parts defect is discovered, Customer will be charged the then-current published Sixes Custom hourly rate, plus any parts costs, for all remediation work.
Sixes Custom will not usually work on a project that has been started by another person/shop, although if such work is undertaken it is explicitly without warranty.
Harsh driving conditions (including but not limited to burnouts, racing, drifting, etc.) and /or poor maintenance, negligence, ignoring specific operating instructions etc., will specifically void all warranty.
Sixes Custom will not entertain any warranty claims for parts of a vehicle that were not worked on by Sixes Custom. Sixes Custom reserves the right to refuse to work on a vehicle that has obviously been poorly maintained and reserves the right to refuse to install customer supplied parts.
